The MegaStar Systems MegaStation is an automated continuous shelving system employing the "goods to man" principle. The multi-purpose carriers which are attached to continuous chains are moved to the access port under computer control. Integrated path optimization ensures short access times. All MegaStar Vertical Carousels are equipped with lockable doors and lighting as standard.

The range of MegaStar Vertical Carousels is as varied as the stock to be stored and the logistics problems to be solved. MegaStar Vertical Carousels are available in 3 widths and 3 depths for each model group. Special widths are available on request. Heights are available from 7.56' in model 1000 to a maximum of 32.81' in models 1500 and 2000. The load capacity per carrier varies between 220 and 1430 lb., depending on the design of the individual MegaStar Vertical Carousel.

Each MegaStar Vertical Carousel is designed to function in industrial conditions in accordance with the current safety regulations. The controller is situated in a switching cabinet, protection class IP54, which is dust and spray water proof.
